PITTSBURGH, PA – AMETEK Process Instruments has broaden the capabilities of its Model 5100-NCM (Non-Contact Moisture) Gas Analyzer to include analysis of carbon dioxide and moisture/methane in hydrocarbon streams.
The Model 5100-NCM utilizes tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy technology. It offers natural gas and hydrocarbon producers, pipeline operators and service companies with a highly reliable and cost-effective method for quickly and accurately measuring water vapor (moisture), methane and carbon dioxide concentrations in natural gas and hydrocarbon streams. The 5100-NCM has a limit of detection in the low ppm range for moisture and carbon dioxide.
The laser-based analyzer features compact, fully enclosed optics and sample conditioning, on-board moisture verification, and all digital signal processing. The rugged, compact unit is available in an IP-65 and NEMA 4 enclosure with both Modbus and Ethernet analog and digital connectivity.
