The Need
For years, the natural gas industry has needed a highly reliable, field-ready, on-line BTU Analyzer. The analyzer needs to be easy to install, easy to operate, and easy to maintain with true, bi-directional communications for remote control and troubleshooting. All these features need to be available at a low cost.
Today, Chandler -- one of the most trusted names in oil and gas equipment for over 50 years -- has met the need.
The Solution
The Model 2920 BTU Analyzer System is a stand-alone gas chromatograph designed to measure the heating value of up to six natural gas streams. Built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, it delivers the repeatability and accuracy of a laboratory gas chromatograph.
Manufactured by Chandler Engineering, the 2920 is an extremely reliable GC which also happens to be very simple to start up and operate even when one has minimal familiarity with chromatographs.
The 2920 provides measurements of per cent composition, BTU value, Wobbe Index, compressibility, and relative density (specific gravity).
