UGC Densitometer and Model 303 Signal ConverterThe Model 303 Signal Converter PIC linearizes the frequency output of a UGC densitometer and converts it to a standard 4-20 mA analog signal proportional to corrected density. This allows the unit to interface with an IBM-compatible personal computer that is equipped with a telecommunications package. Setup and calibration data is stored in nonvolatile memory in the EEPROM. It has an LCD display for monitoring density in selectable density units. Calculates mass flow with flow meter input.
