The MGB1000 is a micro gas blender ideal for calibrating gas analyzers, such as AMETEK Process Instruments’ ta3000 and ta5000 series, with parts-per-million (ppm) or parts-per-billion mixes of a single or mixed-component gas standard.

It generates consistent and reliable fixed-point gas concentrations at blend ratios up to 4545:1. The micro volume flow path enables single-step blends quickly and reliably, without consuming large quantities of zero gas.

With modern impurity detection applications requiring the highest levels of accuracy from gas purity analyzers, the MGB1000 is an ideal solution for the verification of high-technology analyzer calibration.

Specially engineered for long-term stability, this micro gas blender is designed for calibration and certification of gas analysis instrumentation in the industrial gas, LCD/OLED display manufacturing and semiconductor industries.

Regulators and gauges are located downstream of the primary flow path for both the calibration and zero gases, which prevents contamination of the blended stream due to minor leakage or outgassing at joints, gaskets or welds.

All tubing and interconnecting fittings in the primary flow path are constructed from 316 stainless steel, while electronic pressure gauges are stable to within 0.1% of full-scale readings per year.

Each gas inlet line is protected from particulate matter by a 2-micrometer particle filter. The pressure-to-flow relationship of the capillary restrictors does not change with time, providing stability over the lifetime of the unit.
